When creating and managing a large project, you are not going to be able to complete all the tasks yourself. The Depute project management task list application allows you to setup a project then allocate out those tasks to the specialists best placed to perform those tasks. Where a set of actions is repeated each time for a project, the items can be brought in from a template or pro-forma set of actions.

There are many project management task list examples, but imagine this one, insurance company dealing with Medicare-care claims. Each claim has the same list of actions. On bringing in a new case, we simply select the pro-forma project then the tasks are there ready to be checked off as we complete the case.

  • You can change the defaulted task list once applied to reflect your own individual needs.
  • You can edit your personal copy of the pro-forma list for defaulting in any new projects you create.
  • There is a global template which is open to collaboration and peer review form which you can periodically refresh your personal pro-forma.
(For example, above, if the law changes in regards to the steps needed to complete, or if industry practice changes, then a new revised template may become available for you to use.

When creating the project simply select either the global or your own local pro-forma.

For certain types of project a recurring event is usually a progress meeting. Once identified these special events allow you to perform reviews of existing tasks, provide updates on status and assign actions just like in a real meeting. Setup is easy just setup the meeting;

The when it comes to review time, the first time you ask for a meeting it will ask you which tasks are required for review. This will be then used as the template for future meetings.

And can then be reviewed where when status updates are presented and any actions can be entered. Of course these are all at the same time automatically updated against the task and it is possible to then post review export the minutes of the meeting for sending out to the participants.
